Anthony Buxton – LEADx Presenter
A radiographer since 1978, Anthony worked in the NSW public health sector, generally in senior positions, principally specialising in CT. In 1988 he was appointed the first academic radiographer at the now Newcastle University, to develop, accredit and support the Diploma then Degree programs in all strands of MRS. Prior to “retiring” from academe in 2016 Anthony’s commitment was heavily focused on teaching and research support including ethic committee involvement and by retirement was a Deputy Chair of the University HREC. Currently Anthony is a locum and casual forensic radiographer, however still active in a range of research activities.
Antohony will present on the topic of Implications of Ethics in Medical Radiation Science Research activities.
