COVID-19
There are no restrictions on domestic visitors from all around Australia entering Queensland. All Queensland border restrictions were removed from 1:00am AEST Saturday, 15 January 2022. All interstate travellers and returning Queensland residents can cross the border without an entry declaration or border pass, no need to complete any COVID-19 test and no need to provide proof of vaccination status.
Up to date information on travelling into Queensland from interstate is available here: https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/public-health-directions/travelling-to-queensland/entering-queensland-from-interstate
Under the Queensland Government guidelines all patrons visiting the Cairns Convention Centre and all associated conference related venues are to be fully vaccinated. If you are 16 years or over, you will need to carry proof of your vaccination status and be prepared to show this upon request.
All visitors, organisers, team members, contractors and exhibitors must also check in each day using the Queensland Health QR Code and app and display their check in on entry.
We recommend that all visitors download the Check In Qld app on their phones before arriving at the entry point to avoid delays at entry.
The Check In Qld app is available on Google Play and Apple App Store. https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au/check-in-qld
Everyone entering the Centre must accept the safety measures in place and provide necessary details and declarations as required by government legislation.
The Centre maintains the right to refuse entry as set out in the Conditions of Entry.
For further specific information about requirements at the venue as of December 2021.
