He worked as a radiation therapist at the Waikato District Health Board, treating many wh\u0101nau on their cancer journeys. Identifying an equity opportunity in the service, he moved his focus to influencing the development of the Health Equity and Improvement Group at Waikato Radiation Oncology Services, which he subsequently co-chaired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamaine&nbsp;has held many advisory and development roles, including as a Senior Advisor in Te Aka Whai Ora and co-leading the National Allied Health, Scientific &amp; Technical Workforce Pipeline Programme; leading the Te Pitomata Grants programme, providing strategic advice for a national framework development with medical physicists, health workforce development and cancer screening.
