Lisa Te Paiho (Te Aitanga a Mahaki, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Maniapoto) has over 30 years experience in the cancer sector. She has worked in Māori health and equity roles and as a radiation therapist with a focus on pre-treatment. Lisa is a member of Hei Āhuru Mōwai, the Māori Cancer Leadership Group, and co-chair of MiRO (Māori in Radiation Oncology). Lisa advocates for health system change driven by whānau and community voice. Her goal is to achieve equity in breast screening participation and cancer mortality.
