Katherine has over 30 years’ experience as a radiation therapist working in a range of roles both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. After recognising a lack of lymphoedema services within the Wellington [New Zealand] public health system, Katherine undertook training to become a lymphoedema therapist. In 2023, Katherine implemented a service within the radiation therapy department for the treatment and management of patients with cancer-related head and neck lymphoedema.
