Kelly is an internationally recognised expert in mammography image quality evaluation systems, with her research contributing to the development of Volpara Health's TruePGMI. In addition to positions she holds at Charles Sturt University, Kelly remains clinically current through her work with BreastScreen NSW and holds the ASMIRT Certificate of Mammography Practice and Advanced Breast Imaging Certificate. Kelly is also positioned as the Chair of the ASMIRT Breast Imaging Reference Group and is an active member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists Mammography Quality Assurance Program Panel.
