Three new invited speakers announced

Lauren Parsons, Amy Hancock and Chris Rispins are the latest invited speakers confirmed for AZMIRT/NZIMRT 2025. As experts in wellbeing, patient care and applied AI respectively, these speakers will bring conference delegates valuable perspectives.

Lauren Parsons

Wellbeing Specialist, Speaker & Author, New Zealand’s ‘Keynote Speaker of the Year’ and  ‘Educator of the Year’ for 2024

Lauren is an award-winning wellbeing specialist, TEDx speaker and author. She is also the founder of the Snack on Exercise movement and host of the Thrive TV Show. Previously a senior lecturer at the New Zealand College of Fitness, a qualified life coach and with a business degree and post-graduate specialising in human resources, Lauren is a sought-after international speaker and consultant who integrates her wellness and business background to help organisations create a high-energy, peak performance team culture.

Dr Amy Hancock

Therapeutic RadiographerDirector of Medical Imaging, University of Exeter, UK

Amy is a therapeutic radiographer and a passionate advocate for research that improves the care and services for patients and for patient and public involvement and engagement. Amy was awarded the College of Radiographers Doctoral Fellowship, supporting her PhD, which employed co-production to develop a shared definition of compassion and a conceptual framework of compassionate display. Amy is part of the multidisciplinary research team for TOURIST: a series of randomised controlled trials for palliative radiotherapy for stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.

Chris Rispin

Business futurist and innovation expert, The Future Trends Group

With nearly 40 years of experience in AI and medical practice management, Craig provides valuable insights into how these technologies can revolutionise and transform health care. Craig’s journey with AI began at Apple, where he delivered his first 100 presentations on early voice-to-text technology. Since then, Craig has applied AI innovations to enhance clinical workflows, improve patient outcomes and expand the boundaries of what’s possible in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
