ASMIRT has reported a milestone in the lead-up to ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025, with an impressive 300 abstracts received from the call for abstracts. A 15 percent increase from the previous year’s submissions, this number represents unprecedented interest in Australasia’s leading conference for the medical radiation sciences community.
The abstracts submitted spanned subjects such as improving patient experience, the use of contrast in MRI, CT and mammography, developments in adaptive radiation therapy, and enhancing clinical education, just to name a few. Most abstracts came from Australia and New Zealand, with a smaller number from as far as Iran, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee, with an event program to be announced in coming weeks.
Registrations are currently open, with several registration types available, including member, non-member and student. Early bird pricing, which offers $150 discount on the full fee, closes Wednesday 18 December.
Taking place in Adelaide from 27-30 March 2025, ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 will feature a full day of interactive workshops, site tours, and over 200 educational and technical presentations.
