Sharing their unique experiences and international perspectives, invited speakers from overseas are an ASMIRT Conference highlight. With ASMIRT 2026 just two months away, and the draft program<\/a> out now, here are some international speakers bringing us the latest updates in their areas of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben Potts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Diagnostic radiographer, leading advocate for neurodivergent inclusion in healthcare<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to catch Ben:<\/strong> 11am on Friday for Improving Emergency Care for Autistic and ADHD Adults: The NEEDS Project<\/em> and<\/strong> 2pm on Saturday for Supporting Neurodivergent Students in Healthcare Education<\/em>: Lessons from SSHINE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ben is diagnostic radiographer within England's NHS and a doctoral researcher at City St George\u2019s, University of London. His PhD \u2013 the NEEDs Project \u2013 focuses on improving emergency department care for autistic, ADHD and AuDHD adults. A neurodivergent individual himself, he co-founded the Staff & Student Healthcare Initiative for Neurodiversity & Equity (SSHINE) \u2013 which authored the\u00a0NHS Guide to Practice-Based Learning for Neurodivergent Students<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dr Daniel Pham<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dosimetrist lead for Reflexion X1, the world\u2019s first Biologically-Guided Radiotherapy system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to catch Daniel: <\/strong>3:30pm on Friday for a session on MR-guided Adaptive Radiotherapy Treatment<\/em> and<\/strong> 2pm on Saturday for Biology-Guided Treatment Delivery System: A single-institution experience<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an Australian-trained radiation therapist and certified medical dosimetrist, Daniel is visiting from Stanford Healthcare USA, where he is the dosimetrist lead for Reflexion X1, and the ViewRay MR-linac system, optimised for on-table adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel previously worked at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and was part of the multidisciplinary team that developed the TROG study of bladder online adaptive therapy and the kidney SABR FASTRACK study.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Beardmore CBE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Executive Director of Professional Policy, The Society and College of Radiographers, UK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to catch Charlotte:<\/strong> 1:30pm on Friday for From Policy to Practice: Embedding Patient, Public & Practitioner Partnership Principles <\/em>and<\/strong> 9:30am on Sunday for Shaping Advancing Practice Radiography in the UK: Policy, Practice, and Professional Progress.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Society and College of Radiographers, Charlotte leads the Professional and Education Team who produce guidance for radiographers, specifically in the areas of professional practice, education and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Society and College Charlotte co-chairs the national NHS England Advancing Practice Programme Board and has contributed to international working parties, including the World Health Organization and the International Atomic Energy Agency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
