Sponsored sessions by Canon: CT Education evening and intro to multi-positional CT

As a conference sponsor, Canon is running two special sessions for ASMIRT 2026 delegates.

Scan and Sip: A CT Education Evening

This pre-dinner event on Thursday 26 March offers practical insights into the latest CT clinical trends and expert scanning tips.

From 5pm-7pm, Canon is extending an invitation to all radiographers (not just Canon CT users) for a social evening that includes:

  • CT Angiography Tips: From routine to complex CTA studies, discover practical scanning tips and learn how the latest technology can enhance your workflow.
  • CT in Motion: Discover how CT hardware is evolving to tackle complex clinical challenges in areas such as trauma, interventional radiology, oncology, veterinary imaging and vertical CT for weightbearing applications.
  • Networking: Connect with peers, exchange ideas and enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

This session represents 1.5 CPD hours.

CT turned on its head: Introducing multi-positional CT

From 7.30am-8.30am on Saturday 28 March, join Canon's breakfast session and discover how multi-positional CT can unlock new diagnostic possibilities, improve patient care, and streamline clinical workflows. Breakfast provided.

Canon invites delegates to be among the first in Australia to experience Aquilion Rise—a breakthrough combination of weightbearing and conventional CT imaging. In this session delegates will:

  • Learn why weight-bearing CT matters: Learn how assessing patients under load delivers more accurate insights for an expanding range of clinical areas, revealing functional changes that can be missed in traditional imaging.
  • Prepare for the future of imaging: With vertical CT poised to reshape conventional workflows, this session will help you anticipate the impact, plan for integration, and stay ahead of evolving clinical expectations.
  • Bring actionable knowledge back to your team: Explore how adopting multi-positional imaging can enhance your service offering and support improved patient outcomes.
