{"id":14167,"date":"2019-10-10T10:25:44","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T00:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conference.asmirt.org\/2020\/?p=14167"},"modified":"2019-12-09T10:27:48","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T00:27:48","slug":"derek-roebuck-professor-of-paediatric-radiology-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conference.asmirt.org\/2021\/derek-roebuck-professor-of-paediatric-radiology-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"Professor Derek Roebuck \u2013 Professor of Paediatric Radiology, Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Derek\nRoebuck graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1984.&nbsp; He has come to Perth to take up the position\nof Professor of Paediatric Radiology at the University of Western Australia and\nPerth Children&#8217;s Hospital after 19 years in England, where he worked as\nconsultant paediatric interventional radiologist and more recently Head of\nClinical Service (Radiology) at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in\nLondon.&nbsp; Prior to his time in England he\nwas Associate Professor in Radiology at the Chinese University of Hong\nKong.&nbsp; Prof Roebuck has also worked in\nNew South Wales and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One\nof Prof Roebuck\u2019s major medical interests is paediatric cancer, and he was\nRadiology Chair of the International Childhood Liver Tumour Strategy Group\n(SIOPEL) for over 15 years.&nbsp; He also has\nextensive experience in the treatment of children with renovascular disease and\ncomplex aerodigestive problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conference.asmirt.org\/2021\/program\/#program_invitedspeakers\">Return&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>to the Invited Speakers page\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Derek Roebuck graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1984.
