We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 ASMIRT National Conference will be held in the remarkable city of Nipaluna Hobart, the traditional land of the Muwinina people.
Hobart is a place best known for its breathtaking natural beauty, its vibrant arts scene, and its rich history. But more than that, it’s a city that embodies the spirit of exploration and innovation — making it the perfect setting for our theme in 2026: "Navigate the Wilderness: Listen, Adapt, and Discover." Much like Tasmania’s natural landscape, our professions present their own challenges and are constantly evolving. The complexities of healthcare, new technologies, and changing patient needs create a vast and often challenging landscape. But as you would navigate the wilderness, we can listen to those around us, adapt to the challenges we face and discover new paths forward.
